He Said, She Said

A quote. Did he say it, or did she?

A line from the couple's life appears on the screen: "We should get a dog." Everyone taps He Said or She Said, and the bride reveals who actually said it. It is the quickest way to hear the stories behind the relationship, one quote at a time.

Hosting tips

From real showers
  • Collect real quotes from the couple beforehand. Ask the groom for five things she has said; ask her for five of his.
  • Put the exact moment behind each quote on the reveal. "Said at 2am in a car park" beats the quote alone.
  • Alternate obvious ones with trick ones. The trick ones are the whole game.

Questions

Answered
Where do the quotes come from?

A set of ready-made ones comes with the game, and the editor lets you replace them with real lines from the couple.

Does the groom play?

He can answer on his own phone if he is there, and his answers appear next to hers. Usually he is not, and she speaks for both.

Is it just for brides?

It works for any couple. Rename the options in the editor if you like.
